Embed all issues matching a JQL query

Use an Advanced Issue Macro to embed all issues matching a JQL query. Embedded data will automatically update as the entered JQL query matches different issues over time.

This is a fast and effective way to automate reports - e.g. for projects, sprints and releases - because issue data embedded this way will always remain up-to-date. Advanced Issue Macro makes manually updating issue data in Confluence reports a thing of the past.

If you have an existing Jira filter that matches your desired issues, you can also embed issues using a Jira filter.

To embed all issues matching a JQL query, start by adding an Advanced Issue Macro to a page or blog. On the issue selection modal, search for issues using JQL.

Search for issues using JQL to embed them in Confluence

Next, click Use as filter / select filter under the search box. This will expand the filter configuration.

Click 'Use as filter - select filter' to open filter configuration

Tick Use current JQL as filter. This will automatically select all issues matching the entered JQL query.
